I bought a crossword puzzle book at a bookstore and did not like it at all. The clues were horrible. So ordered this one because I read a lot of good things about New York Times crossword puzzles. The clues on this were a lot better, though occasionally some of them don't make any sense to me and I wonder how anybody could possibly figure out the answer, but for the most part I've enjoyed this one.
The Monday crosswords from the Times are not too easy, but not too tough either.. Even on the Monday crosswords there's always a few twists and turns in them keep them interesting.I have Volumes 7 thru 13 of this spiral bound Easy Mondays crossword book series.. Yes some of the clues may get a little repetitious from puzzle to puzzle, and from book to book.. But so far I haven't had any puzzle that was an exact duplicate of another puzzle in this series of books.. That's 350 puzzles and no duplicates, so far..And that's pretty good, IMO..
These are always my favorite puzzles. I always have one on hand. I like the way the clues are written and it's a perfect level of difficulty.
Will Shortz's idea of easy is -- well -- maybe not my idea of easy. But these are fun anyway

Will Shortz are my fave puzzles so I buy all of this particular series. Highly recommend. Spiral bound for easy folding over. Large print and challenging but in a "doable" way. Love them.
Love these crossword puzzles . True to name, easier but you still have to think. Bonus : crossword puzzles can sharpen your cognitive language skills while entertaining you . Keep these coming !
