With the bar set high from Depraved, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was NOT disappointed. The action and suspense continues just as smoothly with Delivered I devoured it quickly. Of all the bumps and twists I didn’t see that ending coming! This rollercoaster will have you on the edge of your seat to tears to giggling at Smith’s snarky comments.I love the strong and feisty Gabby so much, not to mention her love for JD! They have such an intense and steamy (like off the charts and better call the fire dept steamy) relationship.All the characters come to life so vividly exposing a little bit of their layers at a time and are still unraveling. I am most definitely looking forward to seeing what’s in store for Smith, Gray and Chase!And spoiler alert 2 epilogues! WTHeckkkk!Well done Eva Charles! I look forward to so much more of this genre from you!
Well, Eva Charles definitely DELIVERED JD to us on a handsome, arrogant silver platter and I for one am not even remotely disappointed. If you haven't read the first book in this duet, Depraved, don't read any further because some of what I may say here would spoil that book for you and you MUST read it to understand fully the dynamics in this story. When we left JD and Gabrielle, their world was completely obliterated as they knew it. There are some definite tragedies that each must contend with. There are many truths that must be revealed and secrets (some serious bombs indeed) that must be released in order for these two to even come CLOSE to being who they are meant to be together. While reading, I wasn't completely sure they had it in them. Seeing the lengths that JD would go through to protect those he loves is an absolutely beautiful thing to see, despite the fact that many don't like the way he goes about it. JD showed his beautiful side and yes, I physically swooned...(you will know when when you get to that part lol). Eva ties up some loose ends for us along with bringing us even more to look forward to his her Charleston, NC world
Holy moly did Eva Charles deliver something absolutely fantastic with Delivered. The range of emotions with Gabrielle has you reaching for the tissues and even new panties at times. She is so strong with everything that is thrown at her. Her bond with JD only gets stronger even when she pushes away. JD is amazing throughout Delivered. I love how he does everything in his power to not only protect Gabrielle but to prove that their love has never gone away. You will be glued to the pages when it comes to this one. Note this is not a stand alone and you must read Depraved first. I really can't wait for more from Eva Charles and Smith's story. If you have read Eva Charles and her sweet side then you really need to read this other side of her. I loved Delivered and you need to one click this one.
A stunning conclusion to the Devil's Duet, Delivered takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that you hope never ends.Book 2 in the Devil's Duet was everything I hoped it would be. Of the two stories, this was the more emotional read for me as there were some situations that were very intense and would test even the best of readers.I fell in love with these characters in Depraved and stalked this author for book two. Her problem now is that I am so in love with other characters that she won't get rid of me until all the stories have been told. And I am talking Gray, Chase, and my favorite Smith!Without getting into too much of this story, I will say that JD and Gabby push each other to the very end of their ropes and it was fabulous. Explosive from beginning to end!Reading time for Delivered was a little over 5 hours. Minus the few times I had to adult, I read this in one sitting.Absolutely loved this book, this series and now this author! So glad I found her!Delivered gets 5 stars from me!

I absolutely fell in love with JD in the first book, and I just couldn’t wait to read the conclusion. My expectations were really high going in, and Ms. Charles did not disappoint!The storyline is undeniably captivating. Not only is the storyline fabulous, but the characters are so well developed. I went through so many emotions while reading this book. I often felt like I was on a roller coaster, and I must admit that I felt a bit drunk when I finished. “Nothing is ever completely destroyed. There is no such thing as the perfect crime.â€Delivered had me on the edge of my seat the entire book. It picks up from where Depraved ended and there was not a dull moment. There is gruesome pain and suspense that will have you trying to guess what will happen next. In my opinion, this one is a lot darker than the first book and I LOVED it!! We are given more details about the past which answers all the lingering questions I was previously left with. This duet series was hands down amaizing. Everything tied together so well. I couldn't put this book down. My husband made fun of me because I passed out reading it in bed. Eva Charles definitely knows how to keep you engaged in a book. I can't wait for more.
